Deutsch: Der dreifache Schrägbalken ist von der ortsadligen Familie der Saller (Salla) hergeleitet, die schon um 1400 ausgestorben sein dürfte. Ihr Wappen ist im Siegel des Ludweich Saller an einer Reichsstadt-Regensburger Urkunde von 1398 überliefert. Das goldene Posthorn erinnert an die schon um 1530 eingerichtete Taxissche Poststation in Saal, für die seit 1630 Posthalter nachweisbar sind. 1808 folgte eine bayerische Postexpedition.
