Deutsch: Unter gold-blau geschachtem Schildhaupt durch eingeschweifte silberne Spitze, darin eine blaue Kapelle, gespalten, vorn in Rot silbernes, sechsspeichiges Rad, hinten in Schwarz goldener, rotbewehrter und –gekrönter Löwe.
Deutsch: Das Sponheimer Schachbrett in blau-gold entspricht der Landesherrschaft dieses Geschlechtes im Mittelalter. Das Mainzer Rad erinnert an die Landeshoheit ab 1279. Der Wittelsbacher Löwe bezieht sich auf die in verschiedenem Umfang vorhandene Anteilherrschaft der Herzöge von Zweibrücken bzw. der Kurfürsten von der Pfalz in ihren verschiedenen Linien. Zur Erinnerung an die alte Semendis-Kapelle war es der Wunsch des Gemeinderates, diese in das Wappen aufzunehmen.
