Deutsch: Der Dreiberg im Schildfuß symbolisiert die besondere Lage der Gemeinde im Talkessel zwischen dem Mantelberg, dem Geißberg und dem Zellmüller Berg. Die drei oben gezinnten roten Sparren erinnern an das für die südliche Oberpfalz bedeutsame Adelsgeschlecht der Hofer von Lobenstein, die im 14. Jahrhundert die Burg Lobenstein zu ihrem Hauptsitz machten. Die Burg wurde im Dreissigjährigen Krieg zerstört, die hoch über Zell gelegene Ruine ist heute ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel.
