Fiona Compton (born 1981)[citation needed] is a London-based artist and historian from Saint Lucia.[1][2][3][4][5] Her work has explored the various disparities in representation of the Afro Caribbean diaspora within art and mainstream media, exhibiting as part of a collective and in solo presentations across the U.K and the Caribbean.[6]
Compton is one of the five children of politician John Compton and Janice Barbara Compton.[1][7] She is the Goddaughter of King Charles III.[2][8][9] In 2013, her youngest sister Nina Compton finished second and was voted as "fan favourite" on American reality cooking show Top Chef.[10]
Compton works for publishing houses in the UK, taking photographs of European officials in the finance and banking industries.[11][third-party source needed] She is an ambassador for Notting Hill Carnival, a two-day festival in London.[12][13]
