Hats Off to Del Shannon is the second studio album by American rock and roll singer-songwriter Del Shannon, it was released in May 1963 in The UK to coincide with Del's Tour,[2]
the real crime was that this album wasn't put out in the U.S. or Canada[2]. There was this "album voild" between the Runaway album and what would become the Little Town Flirt album.[2] The Album fixed this problem in England, but not in America.[2] An opportunity was missed, but fans were still buyer of singles[2] it contains His last six U.S. A-side and its six U.S. B-sides. There were no covers of songs recorded specifically for an album release as there would be for most of his albums later on.[2]
All tracks are written by Del Shannon, except where noted.
