The Sabre Society of North Carolina/Hickory Aviation Museum is a volunteer aviation historical society located at Hickory Regional Airport in Hickory, North Carolina.

The organization restores and preserves vintage jet fighter aircraft from the Korean and Vietnam eras.

Aircraft Displayed

Currently the Sabre Society displays the following examples of military fighter aircraft on the airport terminal ramp:

A de Havilland Vampire still in flyable condition is also part of the collection but it is only displayed in favorable weather conditions.

The museum is free and open to the public. Its opening hours are Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 1pm to 5pm. Monday through Friday the museum is open by appointment only.
