The Ikogosi Warm Springs is a tourist attraction located at ikogosi, a town in Ekiti State southwestern Nigeria.^[1] The nature of the spring and its emergent remain a mystery, flowing abreast the warm spring is another cold spring and both later met at a point, each maintaining its thermal properties.^[2] Research proved that the warm spring has a temperature of about 70oC at the source and 37oC on meeting the cold one.^[3] The mystery behind the springs seemed to be unclear but a myth claimed that the springs were once humans and wives of a powerful hunter who often quarrel with one another. One day, they had a serious quarrel as usual and were rebuked by their husband, meanwhile they were not satisfy with the action taken by their husband and the gentle wife became the cold spring while the hot-tempered wife turned to the hot spring.^[4]
