Janieck van de Polder also known in his musical works by his artistic name Janieck Devy or just the mononym Janieck (born in Noordwijk, Netherlands in 1994) is a Dutch singer songwriter and film and TV actor.
In 2004 he made his debut in a lead role in the Dutch children's film Pluk van de Petteflet. He also landed smaller roles in Kruistocht in spijkerbroek in 2006 and My Queen Karo in 2009.
As a singer, Van de Polder made his debut with the single "Six String Thing" in 2013. Since then, he has used the artistic name Janieck Devy for his musical output. He released his studio album Survival Guide in 2014.
His greatest success is the European dance hit was when he was featured in Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies' big hit "Reality" which van de Polder co-wrote with Felix De Laet (actual name of Lost Frequencies) and where he plays guitar besides having the lead vocals.
Janieck Devy won Buma Awards, an event for Dutch songwriters, composers and producers. It waswon jointly with Radboud Miedema, for co-writing "Reality".
