Karl Moore (born October 24, 1991) is a Northern Irish mixed martial artist who competes in the Light Heavyweight division of the Bellator MMA. He has also competed in Cage Warriors (CW), where he was the Light Heavyweight Championship. As of October 10, 2023, he is No. 4 in the Bellator Light Heavyweight Rankings.[1]

Mixed martial arts career

Early career

Moore started his professional MMA career in 2011 and mainly fought in UK. He amassed a record of 8–2 prior to being signed by Bellator.[2]

On March 4, 2017, Moore faced Josh Clark at Cage Warriors 81. He won the bout by unanimous decision to win the Cage Warriors Light Heavyweight Championship.[3]

Bellator MMA

Moore signed a contract with Bellator MMA, and made his promotional debut on September 27, 2019, at Bellator 227 against Lee Chadwick. He won the fight by split decision.[4][5]

Moore faced Karl Albrektsson on September 23, 2022, at Bellator 285.[6][7] He lost the fight via face crank submission in the second round.[8]

Moore faced Maciej Różański on February 25, 2023, at Bellator 291.[9] He won the fight by unanimous decision.[10]

Moore faced Alex Polizzi on June 16, 2023, at Bellator 297.[11] He won the bout by unanimous decision.[12][13]

After Vadim Nemkov vacated the Light Heavyweight title, Moore is scheduled to face Corey Anderson on March 22, 2024, at Bellator 302 for the vacant Bellator Light Heavyweight World Championship.[14]
