Klinga is a vilage in the municipality of Namsos in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway.

Klinga was a separate municipality from 1891 to 1963. The municipality of Namsos herred was split into the two new municipalities of Klinga and Vemundvik January 1, 1891. At that time Klinga had a population of 1,387. Klinga and Vemundvik were both (together with Otterøy) merged with the city of Namsos January 1, 1964. Prior to the merger Klinga had a population of 2,482.

The dominant industries have been industry, agriculture and forestry. The development of the main roads through the village was slow. In 1908 bridges were built over places previously served by ferry. In 1922 came the important Namsen bridge so that traffic between Namsos and Klinga could occur regardless of the uncertain ferry connection.. In 1928 the state took over road maintenance on main roads and eventually developed road link to the south and east.
