Live at the Cow Palace is a live album by the American rock band the Grateful Dead. It was recorded at the Cow Palace in Daly City, California, on New Year's Eve, 1976. Released in 2007, it was the first Grateful Dead album produced under contract with Rhino Records. Pre-orders through the Grateful Dead Store received a bonus disc.[5] Unlike the Dick's Picks, Road Trips, and Dave's Picks series and certain other of the band's archival live album releases, which are simply two-track stereo recordings made from the soundboard during the concert, the show on the album was recorded on a 24-track multitrack recorder, which was mixed down to stereo just prior to the album's 2007 release.
