She appeared as a series regular as Alice Marsh, the corporal's wife, in Get Some In!,^[1] had three different roles in Coronation Street, and played Mrs. Britchenor in Between Two Women.

She was praised for her performance as Sandra, the battleaxe daughter in Kisses at Fifty.^[2]
