Marazad (Persian: مرازاد, also known in Azerbaijani Turkish as Ilanliaza-ایلانلی آزا and Marāzād; also known as Mārāzāt)[1] is a village in Daran Rural District, in the Central District of Jolfa County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. According to the 2006 census, its population was 233, living in 86 families. The native name of the village is Ilanliaza, which comprises ilan (snake) and aza (old name of the region).[2]
