Marco Castro (born November 30, 1980) is a Peruvian make-up artist[1] film director,[2] and entrepreneur .[3]

Marco Castro is a Peruvian makeup artist,[4] filmmaker,[5] and entrepreneur[6] who has established a name for himself in the beauty and fashion industries with his signature minimalist style. With over a decade of experience collaborating with François Nars,[7] Marco has honed his craft and developed a unique approach to beauty that has garnered attention from top brands and artists. He is the founder and creative director of his eponymous beauty brand.[8]

Marco has worked with a diverse range of clients, including Cartier, Calvin Klein, and NARS Cosmetics.[9] His work has been featured in numerous fashion publications, such as i-D magazine,[10] Document Journal, CR Fashion Book,[11] Vogue, W, and Office Magazines, solidifying his notable figure in art and fashion. He is known for his long collaboration with fashion designer Willy Chavarria.[12]

His films explore themes of diversity and immigration, capturing underrepresented faces through an elegant and intimate lens.
