Born in Riyadh, Faqeehi trained in the Al-Hilal youth team. For the 2022–23 season, he was promoted to the first team. He made his professional debut on 21 December 2022 in a 2022–23 King Cup match against Al-Ettifaq. Three weeks later, he made his debut in the Saudi Professional League against Al-Adalah, replacing Nasser Al-Dawsari in the 87th minute.[3]
In July 2023, he joined Al-Taawoun on a loan deal.[4] In September 2023, he was named as the Saudi Pro League "Best young player of the month".[5]
In November 2023, Faqeehi received his first call up to the Saudi Arabia national team. He made his international debut on 16 November 2023 while starting in Saudi Arabia's 4–0 home win against Pakistan as part of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification.[6]
