Nate Kalepo (born August 5, 2001)[1] is an American football offensive guard for the Ole Miss Rebels. He previously played for the Washington Huskies.
Kalepo grew up in Renton, Washington and attended Rainier Beach High School. Coming out of high school, Kalepo was rated as a four-star recruit and held offers from schools such as Oregon, UCLA, USC, and Washington.[2] Kalepo decided to commit to play college football for the Washington Huskies.[3][4]
In the 2020 season, Kalepo appeared in two games for the Huskies.[5] During the 2021 season, Kalepo played in eleven games with no starts.[6] Kalepo made his first career start in the 2022 season opener against Kent State.[7][8] In the 2022 season, Kalepo played in 12 games while making three starts.[9] Kalepo opened the 2023 season as a starter for the Huskies.[10] Kalepo started in both of the Huskies playoff games including the national championship where he allowed no pressures or sacks against Michigan.[11] Kalepo was part of a Huskies offensive line which wonn the Joe Moore Award, given to the nation's best offensive line.[12] During the 2023 season, Kalepo played in and started all 15 games for Washington.[13] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Kalepo decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal.[14][15]
In Kalepo's Husky career, he played in 40 games where he started in 18 of them.[16]
Kalepo decided to transfer to play for the Ole Miss Rebels.[17][18]
