The Norwegian Press Association (Norwegian: Norsk Presseforbund, NP) is a Norwegian association for press people with journalism as their main profession.

The current Secretary General since 2016 is Elin Floberghagen.[1]

History

The Norwegian Press Association was established in 1910, for press people with journalism as their main profession.[1] Among its members are the Norwegian Union of Journalists, the Association of Norwegian Editors, Norsk Lokalradioforbund and the Norwegian Media Businesses' Association.[1]

Per Edgar Kokkvold was Secretary General from 1996 to 2013,[2] and Kjersti Løken Stavrum was Secretary General for the period 2013-2016.[3] Elin Floberghagen took over as Secretary General from 2016.[1][4]
