There exact number of children differs between the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. In the Kojiki they have 3, Tokotsuhikoirone, Emperor Itoku, and Shikitsuhiko.[3] Yet in the Nihon shoki they have another, Ikisomimi.[4] only the Kojiki states her father as Kamo no Okimi. [3][5] The Empress's life isn't recorded in the Kojiki or Nihon shoki much other than her family and titles. [3][4][6]
