Ouvrage Col du Fort is a lesser work (petit ouvrage) of the Maginot Line's Alpine extension, the Alpine Line. The ouvrage consists of one infantry block and one observation block at an elevation of 1,717 metres (5,633 ft). An additional block was planned but not built.[1]
The Granges-de-la-Brasque barracks is located nearby.[6]
