Phillip Ko-fei (June 18, 1949 – March 31, 2017) was a Hong Kong based actor, screenwriter and film director.

Early life

Ko laid the foundation of his immersion into the Hong Kong film industry by studying Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu in his youth. He first appeared on screen at the age of 19. [1]

Career

Ko made his on-screen debt as a stuntman in the Shaw Brothers production of The Heroic Ones. [2]

As an actor, he was predominately known as playing the role of the antagonist. He moved forward from acting onto directing his first feature film, "Dirty Angel," in 1981.

Ko died from complications due to prostate cancer on March 31, 2017. [3]
