In Greek mythology, Polyidus (/ˌpɒliˈdəs/; Ancient Greek: Πολύειδος Polúeidos means 'seeing many things') may refer to three distinct characters. The name also means "much beauty", from polus, "many, much" and eidos, "form, appearance, beauty".
