ReliaQuest is a cybersecurity company. As of 2022, they have been the title sponsor of the ReliaQuest Bowl in the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
ReliaQuest was founded in 2007 by CEO Brian Murphy[1] in Tampa, Florida.[2] In 2020 ReliaQuest raised $300 million in funding,[3] and in 2021 ReliaQuest's valuation grew to more than $1 billion.[2] In 2022 ReliaQuest acquired Digital Shadows for $160 million.[1] It remains headquartered in Tampa[4] and has offices in Las Vegas.[5][6]
The company creates the cyber security platform GreyMatter,[7] built on an open XDR architecture.[4] The company holds 52 patents for technology including universal translation of various client data in order to create a common source for each evaluation.[2] The software is used by enterprise companies in the banking industry, airline industry, healthcare industry, and organizations[8] such as the Boston Celtics.[9]
In 2023 the Washington Post wrote an article on the role of the company’s director of mental performance and their role in achieving a level of employee retention.[10] The company is also the title sponsor of the ReliaQuest Bowl in the NCAA.[11] They also sponsor coding classes at the elementary school and university levels in the Florida education system.[12] That has included coding boot camps focused on cybersecurity training.[13]
