The Second Battle of Tucson was an Apache attack on Tucson, Arizona's citadel and surrounding town. The battle occurred on May 1, 1782 between a small garrison of men, fighting for the Spanish Crown. This was the second of three kown battles to have occurred in Tucson during the city's Spanish period.
