Setsunan University (SU, 摂南大学) is a private university in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The university has two campuses in Neyagawa City and Hirakata City. SU is a comprehensive university with eight faculties, 16 departments, and six graduate schools.

1975	Setsunan University was founded. Faculty of Engineering was established.
1982	Faculty of International Languages and Culture and Faculty of Business Administration and Information were added.
1983	Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences was added.
1988	Faculty of Law was added. First graduate school of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established.
1989	Graduate school of Engineering was added.
1997	Graduate school of Law was added.
1999	Graduate school of International Languages and Culture was added.
2005	Faculty of International Languages and Culture changed its name to Faculty of Foreign Studies.
2010	Faculty of Economics was added. Faculty of Business Administration and Information changed its name to Faculty of Business Administration. Faculty of Engineering changed its name to Faculty of Science and Engineering.
2012	Faculty of Nursing was added.
2014	Graduate school of Engineering changed its name to Graduate school of Science and Engineering. Graduate school of Economics and Business Administration was added.
2016	Graduate School of Nursing was added.
2020	Faculty of Agriculture was added.
