The Raptor was designed as an advanced and competition glider. The Raptor 29 model is named for its approximate wing area in square metres.[1]
The Raptor 29's 12.5 m (41.0 ft) span wing has 94 cells, a wing area of 29 m2 (310 sq ft) and an aspect ratio of 5.4:1. The crew weight range is 90 to 110 kg (198 to 243 lb).[1]
Reviewer Noel Bertrand described the Raptor 29 in a 2003 review as "top of the range".[1]
