The official name of the comarca in Spain is "Cerdanya" (as we use Catalan spellings for places in Catalonia): we have an article about the geographical region which spans the French-Spanish border at the English spelling "Cerdagne". I suggest a move to Cerdanya, with a a disambig to indicate the wider article. Physchim62 (talk) 17:26, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

FWIW, I followed the Catalan Wikipedia in calling it Baixa Cerdanya. I have no stake in what we end up calling it, as long as it is citable, given that there is apparently some disagreement. -- Jmabel | Talk 01:58, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There is also the article Cerdanya, which appears to be about the comarca as well. Shouldn't this article be merged into that one, following the naming pattern of the other comarques (i.e. without the trailing "(comarca)" in the title)? —[AlanM1(talk)]— 05:21, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
