Francesca G - Peer Edit[edit]

Hey I just realized that when I clicked on your article from a the "assigned article" tab, it took me to some other random page that I ended up peer editing. Sorry for the delay!

1. First, what does the article do well? Is there anything from your review that impressed you? Any turn of phrase that described the subject in a clear way?

You have a lot of information! I was really impressed when I opened up your article and saw all the text. You have a really great writing style as well.

2. What changes would you suggest the author apply to the article? Why would those changes be an improvement?

I think under the "More Recent Works" section you could honestly just use bullets and you don't need the intro sentence. In an effort to keep things neutral, I think it adds a little too much. Same goes for the final sentence. Just present the facts, you don't necessarily need to talk more about them or explain them. When figuring out how to format mine, I looked at some of the Wiki pages that Dr. M had published in a module and just modeled it off that. Finally, maybe work on your formatting a little? When you are editing in the sandbox, all you have to do is change the drop down from "paragraph" to "heading." This will help it follow Wiki style.

3. What’s the most important thing the author could do to improve the article?

Take away the extra fluff in the awards section and add the style changes!

4. Did you notice anything about the article you reviewed that could be applicable to your own article? Let them know!

You have a lot of content that is extremely well written. I need to go through my article and make sure it sounds nice and also provides lots of info!

Overall, you are so close, keep it up! Again, apologies for the late editing!
