Many of these awards weren't in fact won by Aguilera, but by directors, prodcuers, mae-up artists, etc. These should surely be removed. I'll do so in a day or two if no-one offers a reason against. Less clear is the handful of seconds and thirds; does coming third in a poll count as winning an award? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης)13:30, 23 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, did anyone noticed that Beautiful also nominated for song of the year grammy 2004?

I'm sorry if I'm being a d*ck and whatsoever, but I need to remove a few awards that are not real, a poll/online awards which are Aguilera doesn't receive a trophy for that, you shouldn't put those (online/poll) awards at the first place in this awards page and now I'll remove it.
And here's a list of online/poll awards that I removed:
Billboard Online Poll
Billboard Year in Music (this should be in the listicles)
Blender Awards
Chicago Indie Critics Awards
CosmoGirl! Awards
Cosmopolitan Fragrance Awards
Daily Mirror Music Awards
Dazed Awards
Entertainment Weekly Awards
FHM Music & TV Awards
The Flecking Awards
Fuse TV Awards
Maxim Awards
Teen People Awards (this should be in the listicles)
+ I'm sorry if the person who put these awards on this page is mad at me, I know it's very tiring to find all the awards and in the end, someone deleted it away, I understand that feeling because I've been through it before, Wikipedia has deleted more than 200 awards that I struggled to find
@Saiff Naqiuddin: So online awards are not considered to be prizes "simply because the artist does not receive a trophy"? So Cosmopolitan Fragrance Awards is not a prize for Christina Aguilera's article, but in Britney Spears' article is it valid as a prize, according to your own edit? Polls are not prizes in Christina Aguilera's article, but in Britney Spears' it is considered one? Billboard Mid-Year Music Awards was a poll, as like Billboard Online Poll from 2000, where Aguilera was named as Best New Artist. What's the difference? Just because one of them can figure in Britney's article? Smash Hits Poll Winners Party was a poll too and it is in awards page of numerous artists. Basenotes is an online page, just like the Daily Mirror, Flecking Awards, Entertainment Awards, why can only one be considered a prize? Also, DanceStar Awards isn't a prize in Aguilera's article, but in Britney's article it is? Again, according to your own edit. These awards - with the exception of those that should be on the listicles - will return. I hope you’re not going to partially remove them again and judge them differently in Britney Spears’s article. Please, be impartially, peace out! Nyvak (talk) 22:12, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Nyvak: WHAT!? I'm literally confused as hell, first of all, Smash Hits"Poll" Winners Party is a real award, just because it has poll in the name doesn't mean it is a poll award, I thought you knew about it, smash hits is like one of the biggest awards back in the 90s, and why do you even talk about the Smash Hits award, I'm not even deleting the award from Aguilera's
Yeah about Cosmopolitan Fragrance Awards is my fault, I forgot those awards are real and Aguilera received a "trophy" for that
Like what I said, Billboard Online Poll & Billboard Year in Music should be in the Listicles section
Yup, DanceStar is a real award, it's my fault, I overlooked
So online awards are not considered to be prizes, Yup it is, it is not considered to be prizes IF you put in Awards and nominations section, it will be considered if you put in the Listicles section but it still does not count in her awards total number
And the rest awards that I mentioned above shouldn't be on Wikipedia because that's not an award, It's just a poll/online awards, even tho if you really wanna put those "awards" in Aguilera's, the awards still does not meet the Wikipedia:Notability (awards and medals).
@Saiff Naqiuddin: Again, this is your opinion. The article Wikipedia: Notability (awards and medals) doesn't mention that online awards are not awards to be added to the list; on the contrary, the article clearly says that it is valid, especially when it is well-publicized by independent sources. In this way, the prizes that you cited to be "excluded" from the page have an independent source that disclosed the ceremony and the award, for example: FHM Music & TV Awards, it is not supported by primary sources. The Smash Hits Poll Winners Party was a poll, literally, open the website archive at the time of the ceremony and you will see that the winner was decided by a poll open to the public, that's why I mentioned this award specifically, it has no difference whatsoever from other polls. Billboard Online Poll will not leave the awards section, as the Billboard Mid-Year Music Awards is on the awards section of numerous artists. The criterion must be the same for everyone. Or are you going to tell me that you are "literally confused as hell" and say that Billboard Mid-Year Music Awards was not a poll?
Now, let's go back to removing those awards based on your particular opinion, you just stated that you excluded the awards arbitrarily and partially, violating the "good faith" criterion, since you "forgot that the awards are real" in the Aguilera article, but not in the Britney article? Funny. Another example of your clear bad faith was that you removed 19 awards in your first edition and the number of awards for the artist who was, up to that point, 217, went to 151. Really? Did you get confused about that too? Did you remove 19 prizes that made the total go from 217 to 151? But didn't the 19 awards you removed, in addition to 16 other nominees, affect the list of "nominations"? Please, be careful with these "forgetfulness". Nyvak (talk) 21:00, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
