Andreas Fuls (Technische Universität Berlin) found substantial proof that the Maya calendar was dated 208 years off. Apparently there were 3 astronomic things happening at the same time on 19.12. AD 830. Which the Mayans recorded in their documents as well. Year 2012 theories become year 2220 theories due to this re-dating.[1] [2] I'm sorry that the only references I found are german. -- A reader who checked to see whether Wikipedia knows this already --80.219.140.57 (talk) 12:21, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
