"Superman was called in to and break up the riots, but the rioters used kryptonite to scare him off. Something had to be done and so the home secetary contacted the American Embassy to request the use of Spiderman. However, the Embassy was unwilling to cooperate with Britain and refused access to Spiderman. As a result the riots continued to rage in Merthyr."
