There is a conflict of interest as well as confusion in the editing process, so we would like to request help primarily with neutral tone and of course accuracy for Wiki readers that decide to search for Michaela Guzy online! Michaela Guzy is a documentary filmmaker^[1], travel journalist^[2], American media executive, entrepreneur, producer and on-air show host^[3][4]. She is the founder of the editorial content house, OhThePeopleYouMeet^[5] focusing on people, places and purposes which she founded in 2012 after departing her corporate job as the VP/Global Travel and Strategic Development for American Express Publishing. OTPYM's production arm currently produces three shows, an exclusive Medical Tourism series and TV segments across the USA and Canada.

In her award-winning^[6][7] series, “OH THE PEOPLE YOU MEET with Michaela Guzy”^[8], she curates the local hosts she believes travelers should meet when visiting - from local chefs, designers and artists, to her award-winning film featuring Dr. Jane Goodall^[9]. Her show has appeared on American Airlines in-flight, KTLA ^[10] and Thrive Global. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently in-flight on Qatar Airways^[11], KTLA+^[12] and Modern Luxury Media's streaming service^[13], M/LUX, on Vizio, Roku, Fire and Apple TV in the USA.

In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic she launched a trending visual podcast called InspirationStation^[14] to showcase “real people and real stories” reaching "next generation audiences globally". Each conversation is intended to have audiences ask questions, create dialogue and inspire listeners and viewers to connect on a human-to-human level on topics that impact bigger than themselves. There are currently over 125 episodes^[15].

In 2020, Michaela gave up her home in New York City to document the world reopening safely in her viral video miniseries, “SLEEPING AROUND SAFELY”^[16][17][18]. Select episodes are featured in hotel rooms across the world with the Global Hotel Alliance as well as on her social media profiles.
