GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
(Criteria marked are unassessed)
Background and writing
recorded it in secret without informing her parents- optionally, could lose the "in secret", I think.
to surprise her on Christmas- "at Christmas" seems more natural to me, but this may be just an MOS:ENGVAR issue as I'm used to British English. (If changing it, also amend the picture caption)
Release
After a masters controversy,- I think it would be helpful to briefly summarise what the controvery was within this article.
Music and lyrics
the secret message in the song's lyrics- consider adding, either as a note or in the body text, Swift's practice about "secret" messages. (I only know about it for reading that 2014 Strecker article just now.)
the secret message in the song's lyrics is "God Bless Andrea Swift".- mention, either here or earlier, that Andrea Swift is Taylor Swift's mother.
activities they engaged in together including paint sets, pumpkin patches- I don;t think paint sets and pumpkin patches are activities.
feature many fall imagery- again, might be an ENGVAR issue, but isn't this "feature fall imagery" or soemthing like "feature fall images"?
the pumpkin patch, tractor rides, and the sky is gold- the italics are in the original, but I don't think they need to be italicised here. If they are quotes from the lyrics, shouldn't they be in quote marks?
the "goody-two-shoes" "The Best Day"- Optionally: I think this is technically correct, but maybe add something like "song" after "goody-two-shoes" just because it looks a bit odd (to me).
memories when she was three, five, and 13- no issues.
mentions Snow White and princess in the lyrics- source has "princesses" (plural).
Reception
Swift sang the song during an acoustic portion, dedicating it to her mother and opening act Camila Cabello's mother- no issues.
