... that the play-by-mail game Westworld was run from prison? Source: Muir, John C. (September–October 1994). "Westworld: A Mini Review". Paper Mayhem. No. 68. p. 4.

Comment: Cool idea here. I was wondering if this is related to the Westworld franchise at all? BOZ (talk) 21:23, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks BOZ. None of the sources indicated or suggested that. One reviewer indicated that the designers probably drew from the Stand and Deliver PBM game. But it seems reasonable that they drew the title from the franchise, if not more. Airborne84 (talk) 01:16, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting:
Other problems:
QPQ: - QPQ needed Overall: Article created and nominated on 12 Jan, currently 2671 bytes RPS and not a stub so it is new enough and long enough. Hook interesting and cited in article (AGF offline source). Earwig looks good so no plagiarism concerns. Just need a QPQ and we should be good to go. The article makes this sufficiently important that it was the reason for being in DYK.
But it doesn't say why it was run from prison - was that where the designers were? Did they contract out the GMing? Something else? Lovingboth (talk) 17:28, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
