Edward "Ted" Chapelhow (born 21 September 1995) is an English professional rugby league footballer who plays as a prop for the Oldham RLFC in the RFL League 1.[3]
Ted Chapelhow was born in Runcorn, Cheshire, England. His twin brother Jay Chapelhow also plays for Oldham RLFC in the RFL League 1.[4]
Chapelhow is a graduate of the Widnes Vikings Academy system[5] and played his junior rugby league for the West Bank Bears club.[6][7] He has represented England at youth team level.[6][7]
In 2015 he made his professional début for Whitehaven in the Kingstone Press Championship.[8]
He has since returned to Whitehaven in the Kingstone Press Championship as a dual-registered player.[7][9]
On 10 August 2020 it was announced that Chapelhow, along with his twin brother Jay, had signed for Ottawa Aces.[10]
Due to Ottawa Aces' deferred competition start date, Chapelhow, again with his twin brother, both instead signed up for Newcastle Thunder on 24 December 2020.[11]
On 6 November 2023 it was reported that he had signed for Oldham R.L.F.C. in the RFL League 1 on a one-year deal joining his brother Jay.[12]
