A version of ((i sup)) where the superscripted text is rendered as <small>. The same syntax applies:

((issup|text)) to use the default padding;

((issup|N_units|text)) or, using another shortcut, ((padlssup|N_units|text))
 for N_units of padding, where N_units is a number followed by a display-related unit (em, px, pt, etc). For example, ((padlssup|1px|blah)).

((i smallsup)) (with default padding) and ((smallsup)) compared

(([[SS Kroonland|SS ''Kroonland'']]((i smallsup|2)))) produces: SS Kroonland²

(([[SS Kroonland|SS ''Kroonland'']]((smallsup|2)))) produces: SS Kroonland²
