I would like to add a field for the court session or term length e.g. the Supreme Court of the US has a term from the First Monday in October to the Preceading Day the next year.[1] This is broadly applicable. So without objections I will add this on Monday, 2009-01-05

|- ((#if:(({session|<noinclude>-</noinclude>))} | ((!)) '''Dates of court sessions:''' ((!))((!)) (({session))} ))
In the Empty Syntax section, below terms, insert the next line:
|session = <!--start and end dates of court sessions-->

I was thinking if a second chief judge parameter could be added, if the court has 2 heads, or 1 head and 1 deputy, the Court of Appeal in England has the Lord Chief Justice and Master of the Rolls, the UK Supreme Court has its President and Deputy President.--Tærkast (Discuss) 11:39, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
In light of the existence of ((Infobox court)), is this template necessary? The two templates take almost exactly the same parameters (only differences: high court has an additional country parameter, and court allows a second image, a division map, and a third chief judge). High court has 375 transclusions whereas court has only 95, but I would suggest consolidating on court because of its more generic name. Colin M (talk) 17:02, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
