The Three Gossips is a mid-sized sandstone tower located in the Courthouse Towers area of Arches National Park near Moab, Utah. The formation measures 350 feet at its tallest.[1]
The Three Gossips consist of Entrada Sandstone, formed between 180 and 140 million years ago [2] The pillars were named for the shape of the rock which resembles three heads talking amongst themselves.[citation needed]
The formation can be seen from Courthouse Towers viewpoint and can be accessed through a short hike down into a large wash towards the west side of the pillars.[3]
