"Tintarella di luna" is a song recorded by Italian singer Mina. It was written by Bruno De Filippi and Franco Migliacci. The song became the first major hit for the singer. In Italy the song became number three in the chart, and its sales exceeded 200,000 copies.[3]
Later in 1960, the song was included on Mina's debut studio album of the same name.[4] Mina also recorded a French version called "Un petit claire de lune".[5]
"Tintarella di luna" was also performed in the 1960 musicarello Howlers in the Dock, in which Mina played.[2]
The song "Mai" was used as the b-side. It was written by Arturo Casadei, Aldo Locatelli, Silvana Simoni, and Aldo Valleroni. This song was not included in any studio album by Mina.
