Poppy is an American singer, songwriter, ambient music composer, dancer, and YouTube personality portrayed by Moriah Rose Pereira.[1][2] In October, 2016, she released 3:36 (Music to Sleep To) to her Bandcamp account. Her debut studio album Poppy.Computer debuted a year later in 2017.
* "Bleach Blonde Baby" was released as the seventh single of December 13, 2017. The single was performed on Total Request Live on January 29, 2018. [3]
* "Interweb" was released as the fourth single on July 17, 2017, with a music video released on July 21, 2017.[6] To promote the single, she made her late night debut to perform the song on The Late Late Show with James Corden.[7]
* "Lowlife" was released as a single on July 24, 2015. PopularTV has described the track as one that "will make you want to break out your old checkeredVans and hang with the skater boys."[9] "Lowlife" was later featured on the compilation album Now That's What I Call Music! 58 in the United States, and a version of the track featuring rapper Travis Mills was released under Island Records in April 2016[10] and has received airplay on BBC Radio.[11] A music video for the song was released in July 2015, premiering on Teen Vogue.[12] In September 2016, "Lowlife" was nominated for a Tiger Beat "19 Under 19" Award for "Most Influential Song".[13]
* In July 2016, Poppy released "Money" as a single along with a music video for the track, which kept a similar tone to her YouTube videos.[14][15] "Money" was used in the first episode of the second season of the television series Scream, titled "I Know What You Did Last Summer",[16] and was also used for the video game The Sims 4, on the "Tween Pop" radio station for the Kids Room Stuff pack.[citation needed]
