1631 1632 Isaiah Kopinsky In 1631, after the election of Peter Mohyla as Metropolitan of Kyiv by the Polish Sejm, the latter had to take the monastery by force. 1633 Kopinsky was imprisoned. He was later released and in 1634 captured the monastery, remaining there until 1635.[3]

1655 1672 Theodosius Safonovich [ru] or (1655–1677). A tin roof replaced the wooden one, and the dome was gilded.[3] Sofonovych was a church and educational figure, historian, governor of the Kyiv-Mohyla collegium (1653-55), author of the well-known "Chronicles of Ancient Chroniclers" (completed in 1672).[3]

  • From 1734 thanks to the request of Metropolitan Raphael ( Zaborovsky ) K.S.-M.Z.m. had the status of archimandria and was directly subject to the Most Holy Synod. During the secularization of the church. property, according to the decree of the Imp. Catherine II , 1786 the monastery was recognized as "first class" and remained in the state. From 1799, according to the decree of the Most Holy Synod, the abbot of the monastery was at the same time the vicar (deputy) of the Metropolitan of Kyiv. and Halytskyi with the rank of bishop Chyhyrynskyi. At 18 - at the beginning. 20th century among the abbots of K.S.-M.Z.m. were known to the church. activists, scientists, educators, in particular: 1737–39 – Amvrosii (Dubnevich); 1739–40 – Timofey (Scherbatsky); 1757–68 – Epiphany (Mohyla); 1778–87 – Tarasii (Verbytskyi); 1800–07 – Feofan (Shiyanov); 1807–12, 1812–23 – Iriney ( Falkovsky); 1836–41 – Innokenty (Borisov); 1858–59 – Antony (Amphiteatrov); 1859–65 – Seraphim (Aretinsky); 1865–78 – Porfiry (Uspensky); 1908–11 – Pavlo (Preobrazhenskyi); 1911–18 – Nikodym (Krotkov).
  • In 1713–15, under Abbot Ioannikiy (Senyutovych), a refectory was built with the Church of St. apostle and evangelist John the Theologian, an iconostasis (destroyed in the 1930s) was installed in it
