Thera Rising, Inc. is a St. Paul, MN business that deals mainly with the management and prevention of workplace conflict. In addition, founder Anna Maravelas delivers keynotes and seminars on workflow and process mapping, leadership development, and teamwork. Large businesses make up the majority of Thera Rising's client base, but its client list also includes schools, non-profits, and government sector organizations.[1] Thera Rising also provides Training the Trainer workshops.

Focus

The majority of Thera Rising's work deals with either intervening in or preventing conflicts with organizations – between individuals, factions, departments, etc. At the center of Maravelas's approach is a search for "root causes" of behavior that emphasizes situational factors and differing perspective rather than flawed personalities.[2] These themes can be found across the spectrum of services that Thera Rising provides.

Book

Maravelas's book, How to Reduce Workplace Conflict and Stress, draws heavily on her experiences working with individuals and organizations. The book contains insights and anecdotes from over two decades of work, and has received generally favorable reviews.[3] It is currently in its fifth publication at Career Press.
