Bot523 helps implement AfD categories by removing categories from AfD debates that have been closed. It is written in JavaScript; in fact, some of its code is in its /monobook.js page. It works by harvesting AfD debates that have been categorized for more than a week from query.php, and then checking them to see if they have been closed. If they have been, the ((REMOVE THIS TEMPLATE WHEN CLOSING THIS AfD)) tag is replaced with ((ns:0)), which is the null string and therefore won't come up. -- ais523
