I'm Ylva Carennah, a professional translator and amateur photographer from Finland. My interests include computers, literature and other arts, and gardening.
I have recently started translating articles dealing with Finland from the Finnish Wikipedia into English.
Work in progress
[edit]Translating, editing and finding sources for article Alppiharju. I decided to make this into my first translation project, partly because I have lived there, and noticed that I have a nice-looking photo I haven't published under copyright, so I can use it for the article.- All the text from the Finnish Wikipedia article has been translated, now there's just left finding sources and looking for possibilities to expand the article.
To-do list
[edit]- Editing Template:Helsinki. Reason: Template consists of parts taken from two different ways of dividing the city into smaller areas
- Getting more information about infoboxes, especially Template:Infobox Helsinki subdivision and how to deal with a couple of problems in it
