Freaky Clown (born on November 28, 1976) is an English computer security consultant, author, and hacker. In the late 20th century, he was arrested of computer-related crimes and was soon after released without charge.

Personal life

Freaky Clown grew up in Colchester, Essex and attended several high schools before falling into computer security as a full time job.

Arrest

In 2003 Freaky Clown was arrested under the Computer Misuse Act section 3, after several months of wrangling, all charges were dropped and no further action was taken.

On 1st – 2nd May, 2010, Freaky Clown appeared at the Black-e Liverpool, to present at OGGCAMP 2010.

On 13th -14th, August, 2011, Freaky Clown appeared at Farnham Maltings, Hamsphire to present Digitial Image Forensics at OGGCAMP 2011 [3]

On 11th Feburary, 2012, Freaky Clown appeared at Hack To The Future to present several talks as well as a key note speech to almost three hundred children.

Freaky Clown is also the inspiration of the character Toby Lawrence in the book Hell & Hugh Waters, first published in 2006 by Saul Timothy. Toby Lawrence also appears as the main protagonist in the spin off novel Deadmail.com in progress at this time.
