Hi Devan, I don't know if I'm doing this right but I wanted to reply to your message. First, I appreciate all of your efforts as it must have taken you months to do it all. Maybe I'm having a brain cramp, but how is it possible for the Sting to lose in the OPJHL League Semi-final which involves the final four teams, yet they are listed as finishing 8th? My only guess is that they finished the regular season with the 8th best record and the fact they went deep into the playoffs isn't a factor. If so then I stand corrected. Thanks for any clairification on this. Also I removed Gary Lavendar from the Wellington Dukes GM spot as he has passed away and a new GM has been announced I believe but I'm not sure who. [Bundyman]
Hey, just thought I'd let you know, as a member of the Executive, that yes, the Renegades are up and running...According to our President, he is going with the North Shore name...even putting it out on sponsorship flyers and on the jerseys. BTW..the name non-change is a result of one cost cutting measure in start-up. The jerseys only have 1 year worn in the case of the blues, and 2 games in case of the whites. I don't know if our third jersey will still be the Maple Leafs alternate, which was our home jersey between 2000 and 2003. I added some more stuff in the article, a alternate logo I was comissioned to make back in the Junior "B" days, as well as pictures of Marathon Arena and Terrace Bay Recreation Centre. Hope this will meet with your satisfaction. Will let you know if any more news pops up. Canadienhits 16:59, 11 July 2006(UTC)
Actually, You might get in touch with Denis Leduc, who has been with the team since the beginning, he may have the stats...he's listed in the Marathon phone book...or Paul Dick...who was league statistician for a while. It would be interesting if Wawa came into the league, especially since Al used to be in charge down there. Anything else I can help with let me know. Canadienhits 17:44, 11 July 2006(UTC)
I'll try and get you their e-mails by friday...Canadienhits 20:19, 11 July 2006(UTC)
I talked to Paul...he has stats from seasons 4-8 of the NSHL...will get them this weekend...also..because of a "conflict" (Schreiber Diesles were threatening to pull out because of Terrace Bay, and some sponsorship issues). The "Marathon" Renegades are the name..at this moment...looking at playing the Terrace Bay schedule in White River...stay tuned. Canadienhits 00:49, 14 July 2006(UTC)
Sorry I haven't been on this week, been very busy at work, and with the team. I'll talk to Paul today (if he's not out at camp.) Oh, note of interest 6 games will be in White River, 19 in Marathon. Plus, Ray Miller was named Head Coach on July 19th. Stay tuned! Canadienhits 13:16, 21 July 2006(UTC)
Hi! Instead of posting a bunch of one-sentence articles about junior hockey teams in the same league, please incorporate them into the main article. Jazzcello 07:10, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
I do intend to edit the American Head Charge history, along with adding a music videography. The history though will take a while to write and probably will be constantly re-edited on wiki. Thanks for messaging, for it's nice when someone takes an interest. LuciferMorgan
Excellent, thank you for the response. I look forward to seeing your progress. :) DMighton 20:39, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Having read through the article so far on AHC, I'm unsure as to whether I've unconsciously made the article biased. What do you think? LuciferMorgan 20:49, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Hmmmm... I don't find it biased by any means... but I do find myself wondering how they jumped from the same label as SOAD to an indie label. It is cool article, I like it. I'd like to know more about the new album and how it is on an indie though. DMighton 20:54, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
They jumped from the label because the owner, Rick Rubin, (also producer of the 'War of Art' album didn't like their recent musical direction, so they parted ways. I'm not sure whether Cowards is official, but www.thefeeding.net is a good site for AHC info (check the interviews, this will shed light on why they changed labels). I've been mostly writing on behalf of a rock site called www.rockdetector.com so sorry for such a late reply. LuciferMorgan 20:17, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
To expand articles about locations, you may want to look at articles about large cities such as Toronto and Vancouver, and see what information is applicable to smaller towns and villages. You could also take a look at good articles about small towns, such as Dawson Creek, British Columbia - the major headings in that article are what you'd typically like to find for small-town articles.
As an aside, I've edited the Durham, Ontario article to remove multiple links to the same article. Only the first reference should link to the article; too many links makes it difficult to read the text. Also, you should probably not link to years or dates unless they have specific relevance to the subject.

Actually, I was wondering if you knew any way to find out Durham's Sea Level... I know it is not very high, it is at the bottom of a very deep valley and the town sits barely above the water table. DMighton 11:41, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
Hey, just want to say *thanks* for the time and effort you've put in on the page. I was intending to do it myself, but it was very much one of those "when I get time" jobs and now I'm moving house, it certainly wasn't going to get done any time soon!

I will put the other stats in for you, thats no problem, however, i am a beginner when it comes to this code and i am not able to get another table set up, if you could set this up for me, i will surely put the stats in.
Do you mean a playoff table? I did that it paintbrush... and I just change it when teams move on... like below.
You can use the same thing if you want... takes all of 10 minutes. DMighton 20:51, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I looked it up on the website. It said Rama, Ontario. I'm not sure if it is a real place or not, as there is no dot on the map that says Rama, however there is an Indian Reserve called Rama. That might be it. You may also call it Ramara, Ontario which is the Township. -- Earl Andrew - talk 00:09, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
See the info I added to Earl Andrew's talk. If it's not clear, then ask me more. I live in the area. ColtsScore 13:30, 29 May 2006 (UTC) Actually, here's the info... why make you go looking.
Rama, Ontario is a community just outside of Orillia, Ontario. It's the home of the Chippewas of Mnjikaning First Nation. Their arena is called the "MASK" or 'Mnjikaning Arena Sports Ki' (Ki is an Ojibway word, I think meaning 'land', but I'm not certain on that). It is located at 6145 Rama Road, Rama, Ontario (very close to Casino Rama actually). One of the best on-line sources of info about the arena is The Ramakings Lacrosse team website. In particular, check out the community page and the arena page. I believe the Couchiching Terriers play in the MASK. Hey there. I did see that there were no articles for any of the teams in the AJHL. There are actually a lot of holes in the hockey information in Wikipedia. Even the AHL has quite a few teams missing, which has been a recent discussion in WikiProject Ice Hockey. By the way, come join in the discussion, as there are a few of us interested in hockey. I will probably help out on the defunct AHL team pages before I move on to the AJHL, but that would probably be the next league that I would help flush out. -- JamesTeterenko 21:20, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
How do I join? I've been doing this by myself for a while not even knowing there was a community. DMighton 21:22, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Devan, I would like to discuss the linkages you make between teams in the SOJHL and the present OHL. In each case I believe that two teams of a similar name have been mistaken for one another.
Thanks for your help in documenting the history of hockey in Ontario. We should be able to get to the bottom of this and get it right for the ages. Yours in sport. Flibirigit 05:09, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
If you are looking for stats on a team go here --> [Hockey Database team query page] and type in the team name you wish to find.
If you want to create a template, cut and paste the same code for Template:OPJAHL to a blank article hypothetically called Template:new_name_goes_here (make sure Template: is capitalized as such) and change the league name at the top, the league logo, and the names of the teams. Flibirigit 09:47, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
Dude - awesome :) It'll be a while before I get the time to do anymore work like that as I'm touring Asia for the nest few months. Keep up the good work! IainP (talk) 17:56, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey again. Nope, I don't know of an "Old" video. On the other hand I can't say that there isn't one, either. MH really started to get going way after I got rid of expensive telly (i.e. Sky) so I've no real source of music vids these days *sigh* IainP (talk) 14:56, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
I wish I could help you with Quebec hockey, but I know little about it. Eventually I will write articles for all the QMJHL teams, many which stemmed from the QJHL (see Montreal Jr. Canadiens article). If you do find anything dating before 1969 I could use it later.
As far as Ontario I will be able to make random contributions to Jr A and Jr C teams that I know about, but that will be after i'm done with the OHL. Best of luck. I do have info on the Buzzers, that I will contribute when I get around to the St. Michael's Majors and Neil McNeill Maroons. Flibirigit 08:06, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Yes, nin.com does say that the release is an EP, but I thought the single infobox was better for a couple of reasons:

Let me know where you found the information for the CJHL & QJHL. (ie. book or a website). I would like to find more information for teams such as the Cornwall Royals, Hull Festivals, and the series of Junior Canadiens teams that played in Ottawa, Hull, Brockville and Sherbrooke. I am also looking for more information on the teams which formed the original QMJHL in 1969. Thanks. Flibirigit 00:10, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
I'm also looking for info these team I wrote articles for.
Thanks! Flibirigit 01:05, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
You're doing a far better job then what I could ever do. My best bet to filling out some stats would be to look at some old newspapers. Don't know if I have the time. I do wish to pass on a real cool template that you should use to replace the charts you have made. Check out 2006 Memorial Cup to see them in use. -- Earl Andrew - talk 07:36, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
I like that. Thanks for pointing me in that direction... that is a lot easier than uploading once a week... I can keep it up to date. DMighton 07:39, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
I don't have any stats, and any results would merely be off the top of my head.
I recently made changes to the Whitby Dunlops article. Maybe you can find some wikilinks from what I added to another article you edited. Thanks. Flibirigit 04:03, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

Do you have any info on this trophy? Maybe even a list of champions? Is it now officially a dead trophy? I've been working on Canada West the last couple days and have been chipping away at the Abbott Cup, and I am told that the Abbott Cup is not dead by the stats guy for the Vernon Vipers.... still awarded, even though it doesn't receive any press. Hey, DMighton, how goes it? I see that you've been doing a LOT of work on the teams for younger players. I'll try to contribute whatever I can. I've been working to add the ((ice hockey)) tag onto article discussion pages, to flag them as part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey. Kind of boring grunt work, but gives me a chance to roam around through a lot of pages.
One resource that you may find useful is the Hockey Hall of Fame's http://www.legendsofhockey.net/ site. You can search for NHL alumni by the name of a team (and it includes junior teams!). Here's the link directly to that search. Player stats include the junior leagues.
Anyway, see you around, and keep up the good work! :) . ColtsScore 10:34, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm guessing it was you who added "If you know this league's champions, please help" to this page. Someone has stopped in and added a bunch of the champions for several years, but more are still missing. I sent an email to Mike Faulds, listed on their web page as the statistician, requesting the names of the league champ team for the missing years. Hopefully I'll hear back from him, and who knows? Maybe we'll recruit another wikipedian ice hockey person !!

Hi! Please do not invite people to AfD's[4][5][6]. Thought you might like to know, I finally found enough information to build a useful stub article for the CJHL. Once I realized that it is operated by Calgary Minor Hockey, I finally found some information. I know that the arena in Okotoks where the AJHL Oilers and HJHL Bisons play has a "wall of fame" with a fair bit of historical information about the league. Going to have to head down and take some pictures in the fall. Sad that I am having so much difficulty finding the history of a 61 year old league. Resolute 05:07, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
