Wikipedians interested in the Fun Police are encouraged to join the recently formed WikiFun Police as this Fun Police group has been inactive for some time.

The Wikipedia Fun Police is a group dedicated to eliminating all traces of fun and enjoyment from Wikipedia.

Goals

• Eliminate fun wherever it is found within Wikipedia.
• Pre-emptively discourage other Wikipedians from having fun.
• Where other Wikipedians are sighted having fun within the confines of Wikipedia, issuing a polite request to desist on that user's talk page.
• If the user persists, placing a Request for Sense of Humour Removal (RfSoHR) on the appropriate list and notifying the user in question.

Official Policies

• The Wikipedia Department of Fun is an official enemy of the Wikipedia Fun Police. Fun Police Officers are authorised to shoot Department of Fun members on sight.
• Official Fun Police regulations must be followed at all times. Any deviation from the official policies will be regarded as frivolous activity and the Officer in question treated as having committed an act of fun.

I am so pleased to be a member of this illustrious, effervescent, bubbling with bodaciousness mini-herd of humanoids who do whatever it is we are supposed to be doing but the ongoing efforts to fend off hunger is taxing my decrepit, withered Baby Boom-era body and the cobweb-infested brainlet nestled within my oblate-spheroid-shaped head is pert-near overwhelmed by matters of sheer survival.
