Fuck it. I'm done.

Delete/redirect all my articles and block my account. I don't care anymore. Two editors I have mutual IBANs with because they harassed me can flagrantly violate said bans and neither ArbCom nor the admin corps will lift a finger. A blatantly NOTHERE troll (maybe even a sockpuppet of a banned editor) can harass me for four months and people blame the victim, with no thought to resolve the matter. It reaches a point where it's not worth my volunteer time anymore.

Good bye.

(An earlier version of this retirement notice preserved a previous list of the more significant of my contributions to the Encyclopedia, but the formatting thereof severely undermined the impact of the retirement notice itself. Rather than sinking more time into creating a more concise list, I decided to just blank it. As of this latest update, I will be logging out to avoid any more harassing pings and messages.)

Addendum: So, in response to my posting the above retirement notice, a bunch of editors who had apparently watchlisted my user page several months or years ago because of unrelated incidents decided to look at my contribs to figure out what the immediate impetus was and go jump in there (apparently jumping to the conclusion that it was this). Besides being morally repugnant from a user conduct point of view (with one exception, who apparently watchlisted my user page in a collegial manner and actually was involved in the mottainai "incident" before yesterday), such comments indicate, if taken as being sincere and good-faith readings of the issue at hand, would, in a fair system, result in immediate and indefinite WP:CIR blocks until those who made them have demonstrated that they understand our NOR policy and were "only" engaged in slimy grave-dancing and targeted harassment, and had made no effort to understand the matter at hand. Whatever happens to me, I implore the Wikipedia community to do a better job of enforcing the NOR policy in the future.
