The World Championship hosts will be directly qualified, along with the reigning world champions.
Since there are three organisers, all from Europe, the number of compulsory places for Europe is reduced by two: 2 instead of default 4. The number of compulsory places awarded to other continental confederation remains unchanged. In regards to the 12 performance spots, and based on the results of the 2023 Men's World Championship, Europe receives 11 more spots, while Africa takes 1.

Qualifying occurred between February 2023 and June 2024. Each region's continental championships acted as world championship qualification, although Europe also has its own qualification process. All 209 IHF member associations were eligible to enter qualification. So far, 76 nations have entered the continental championships and European qualifiers, which act as world championship qualification.
Guinea will make their debut at the championship. From Asia, Kuwait are returning for the first time since the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship and Japan qualified after missing out on 2023. The United States made back to back appearances for the first time in 30 years. Brazil were the first country to qualify on 18 January 2024.[2]
The 2026 Men's World Floorball Championships will be the 16th edition of this competition. It will held from 4 to 13 December 2026 in Tampere, Finland.[5]
In 1 December 2022, the Finnish Floorball Federation announced a bid for 2026. The bid had support from the Finnish government and the federation had already sent preliminary letters to Denmark and Latvia about a possible co-host.[6] On 24 March 2023, Finland officially sent an application for the tournament. [7] During January and February, the Finnish Floorball Federation stated that they had a lot of interest from multiple cities, but chose Tampere due to their arenas and fans. The negotiations with Denmark and Latvia for a potential joint bid never materialized to an official bid as Finland submitted a solo bid.[8][7]Finland was given the hosting rights on 24 May 2023 at a meeting in Malmö.[5][9][10][11][12][13]

The 2027 Women's World Floorball Championships will be the 16th edition of this competition. It will held from 3 to 12 December 2027 in Turku, Finland.[1]

Both venues for the tournament are in Turku.[1] Unlike the 2026 men's edition, the bigger arena, the Gatorade Center, will play host to group games and not just knockout games.

The 2032 EHF European Women's Handball Championship, commonly referred to as the EHF EURO 2032, will be the 20th edition of the EHFEuropean Women's Handball Championship, the biennial international women's handball championship of Europe organized by EHF.
The 2030 EHF European Men's Handball Championship, commonly referred to as the EHF EURO 2030, will be the 19th edition of the EHFEuropean Men's Handball Championship, the biennial international men's handball championship of Europe organized by EHF.
The 2032 EHF European Men's Handball Championship, commonly referred to as the EHF EURO 2032, will be the 20th edition of the EHFEuropean Men's Handball Championship, the biennial international men's handball championship of Europe organized by EHF.
