"Wiki Nashik"[edit]

Journey started from kumbathon, a platform where huge projects were being implemented . 'Wiki Nashik' is one of them.

Goal of the Wiki Nashik Project:

• Implicate various schools and college students as much possible.
• Spread congnizance about the Wikipedia Community.
• Small goals and target are made to enhance Nashik's Wikipedia page.
• Aggregation of data regardinga Nashik.

Accomplishments(at present)[edit]

• Interaction with Nashik's corporate people and Government, related to data collection and awareness drives.
• Had an Audience with Nashik's Local Newspaper Sakal about the forward motions of the team and further plans.
• Added a lot of information on Marathi and Hindi Pages of Nashik.
• Upload photographs related to Nashik.

Wikipedia Club Nashik[edit]

"Wikipedia Club Nashik ", an opening move by Abhishek Suryawanshi (AbhiSuryawanshi) and Santoshi Tiwari(SantoshiWiki). Club activities will include:

• Increase Content on Languages like Hindi and Marathi Wikipedia.
• Engage in collaborative editing to improve quality of articles.
• Periodic Interesting Field Trips to various places (Multiplexes,theaters,car factories,blood banks, etc)
• Conduct tours like Wikipedia Loves Nashik.
• Organize social events to raise awareness.
• Represent Wikipedia at student fairs to recruit new editors and participants.
• Conduct outreach on campus by discussing Wikipedia and other projects with students and faculty.

• Awareness drives of wikipedia in different schools and colleges .
• Updating women related pages.
• Collection and implementation of data in Sanskrit language .
• Updating and Uploading more photos.
