Born into an orthodox and a well educated family in 1971 it has been a journey of twists and turns. Father K. S. Venkatadri Sarma [1928-2011], M. A, M. Sc and M. Ed. retired as Personal Assistant to the Governor of Karnataka State [South India] in the year 1985 having served three Governors Shri. Govind Narain, Shri Ashok Nath Banerji, and P. Venkatasubbiah. Apart from formal education, learnt and pursues Sanskrit/Samskrutam, Hindi, Telugu and English. Contributes articles to Social media, newspapers and magazines including the ones printed in the former Soviet Union. Mother Nagaveni Sarma was born to a priestly family in Sringeri, Chickmagalur district, Karnataka.

Shree Passed music examinations in 1989 conducted by Karnataka State Secondary Education Board, Shree gave numerous public concert performances. Srikanth writes south Indian music reviews and concert reports in major music journals and magazines. Organises concerts and facilitates lec-dem from visiting and resident artistes in London, UK.


Shree published a simplified learning/teaching method for students and teachers of South Indian music. The first book "Carnatic for Dummies" was published in 2011book and is looking for publishers.
